Over the last year we have seen significant growth in our membership and our service, we have achieved our aim of becoming a national charity organisation, providing our free service to the health boards across Wales.

We cover the whole of the country providing a professional high quality service to these health boards. We have received numerous thank you letters from NHS departments and staff along with other national charities who we are now providing a vital service to by supporting their cancer patients and ensuring their blood samples can be dealt with more efficiently.

Our goal is to develop and maintain our professional “out of hours” service, to help the overstretched NHS in Wales. Along with an interim “in hours” enhancement service to them and other charity partners, who need our service. Which is quite a challenge given that we are a charity and rely solely on the generosity of the public, our members and businesses in Wales.

We’re continually seeking ways to improve the charity, be it the service we provide, a new way to fund raise or how we care for our members. Any suggestions or ideas you have are welcome.

For us to provide this service we need you! Whatever your talents, whether you ride a bike or not.  We hold monthly meetings across the country and you are welcome to join us and be part of something really special.

This Saturday we have our second engagement event for our planned Powys group. The meeting is this Saturday, starting at 11AM in Llandrindod Wells Fire Station. Everyone is welcome, we are a friendly bunch who are looking to make a difference to the NHS in Wales. Come along to see how you can help. Happy new year everyone, we have an exciting few months ahead of us, with our continued work with setting up a new service in Powys health board and continuing the service to the whole NHS in Wales.

To continue the work in Powys, we have another engagement day 19th January, at Llandrindod Wells Fire Station, Starting at 11am, same as our last meeting all are welcome to attend. Whether you are a rider or not, we have positions available for people who have a drive and want to make a difference to the NHS in Wales.
